Eleonora Deja Vu

Built in 1999, The Eleonora was modeled after Nathanael Greene Herreshoff’s successful design of 1909, the schooner, WESTWARD. She is an Auxiliary Gaff Schooner and, is 49 meters overall, with a beam of 8 meters 20. Her designer was Gaastmeer Ship & Yacht Design, and built by Van der Graaf B.V., in Holland.

“Eleonora Deja Vu” 30×50 oil on canvas (unframed) and all of our original oil paintings are created in my studio on Cape Cod. Cape Cod is famous for its particularly radiant light and magnificent landscapes, seascapes, and quaint harbors. Home to thousands of artists and art galleries, Cape Cod has earned its reputation as a location for artists and collectors of fine art. From the tip of Cape Cod in Provincetown to the bridges, creating and collecting art is a way of life. We have a number of sailing paintings available in our gallery and online.
